Apple has created a musical Bollywood love story for its first 'shot of iPhone film created in India.

Apple has released a 30-minute Bollywood-style musical film - its first 'shot on iPhone' film created in India.

The film, created by TBWA\Media Arts Lab in partnership with world-renowned director Vishal Bhardwaj, aims to celebrate the global prominence of India's Hindi film industry.

"Fursat," is a musical love story that follows Nishant and Diya through the past, present, and future as the story evolves.

The 30-minute film, which will screen on YouTube and across digital and social media channels, is accompanied by a behind-the-scenes video which highlights how the film was captured.

Vishal Bhardwaj, the director of Fursat says, "The mood we've achieved is because of the combination of iPhone's strengths, which is not possible to achieve on a normal film camera.

"I've never had this kind of scale in my film ever before. I think it's going beyond it's giving you so much liberty. iPhone has brought each and everyone to that level, technically, you can be at par with any filmmaker."

Bhardwaj worked alongside director of photography Swapnil Sonawane to create the film, which is the first end-to-end musical shot on iPhone.

The film features lyrics by Gulzar, widely acknowledged as one of India's greatest poets and vocals by Indian singer Sukhwinder Singh, and Indian music composer and singer Kailash Kher.

The film's choreography was conducted by one of Hindi cinema's biggest contemporary choreographers Shiamak Davar. The film's stars are upcoming actors Ishaan Khattar and Wamiqa Gabi.
