Three films directed by Oleg Tomin tell of drivers’ experiences during the war with Russia.

‘Keep Ukraine Moving,’ the latest ad campaign from Uber, is a trio of short films featuring drivers Pasha, Dima and Oksana who have hugely contributed to the war effort in Kyiv over the last year.

In one video, Dima recounts: “The first three days I was so in shock that I didn‘t even leave the house. When I finally went out I saw that people were in extreme need of transportation. One of the most memorable rides was when I brought a soldier to meet his baby for the first time.“

While Kyiv was under siege, he made a total of 674 trips.

The agency behind the campaign is Banda, an independent creative group working as one studio in Los Angeles and Kyiv. The project also hopes to garner donations for Ukraine’s United24 foundation, with Uber matching the first $1m raised to support the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to buy new ambulances.
